Platypus

In 1st grade for a Christmas Present to our parents, our art teacher had us sculpt a candle holder in the shape up a duck. Mine unfortunately turned out looking (as close as I can tell) like a platypus. Every year since Mom gets it out and displays it in the house with the rest of the holiday decorations. For years I've thought of destroying the damn thing, but I'm afraid it is starting to grow on me...

So I'm taking the GRE exam on Thursday morning... one of the components of my Grad School application. oh boy! I am looking forward to getting it over with, especially Pre-thanksgiving break next week! I've been reviewing my math and vocab like crazy and I think I'll do alright. That is, as long as I don't make any dumb mistakes. Hah.

Just another night of waiting for the bus... The art deco red & green lit building across the street gives me a creepy fountainhead vibe. I'm amazed how many people use the sky bridge, it makes me want to investigate as to where it goes. I see people walking with coffee, so maybe there's a cafe in the building somewhere. It's surprisingly dark downtown, especially on a rainy Friday night. Where's the activity Spokane!?

The clouds finally broke tonight and the moon caught me off guard. This project seems to be going well, I put it into my design portfolio and ran it by a few folks... with a little work and picture editing to make the images appear crisper it should be a nice addition.

My clock is 2 hours and 20 minutes fast. It has been for a while... I should change that. Corbu is hanging out below... who seriously has a plate with a famous architect on display in their house? The crazy people who made it and who recieved it as an xmas gift. You're jealous... I know it.

It makes stuff much more convincing. I'm for it. This is a proposed neighborhood I'm working on for my studio project. I like it... hopefully my group will tomorrow too!

ASWSUS had hockey night for the chiefs game. It was a lot of fun, Spokane won! Granted I didn't follow the game much... it was one of those weeks. I'm glad there was a nice turn out. Lots of design students! Woohoo!
